There’s two answers to the question of whether you can watch Hulu in say Canada. The first one is most definitely not, Hulu is only licensed to stream shows to the USA. But how silly is this, we’re talking about the Internet, the global communication network that’s supposed to bring us together and knock down such barriers.
Unfortunately some very archaic business models are trying to put up blocks based on your location. Hulu will only stream it’s wonderful mixture of ABC, NBC and Fox hit shows if you appear to be based in the United States. Yes you read correctly, you must appear to be from the US and you’ll be fine.
What you actually need it is a Hulu proxy, a machine that sits in the United States and forwards your requests. If you connect to this server using a VPN connection, Hulu will stream perfectly for you. A whole industry of service providers has sprung up to meet this need, making the blocks look all the more pointless.
